In this second post I explore the dynamic relationship between what we teach, how we learn and the adoption of EdTech.
Punya Mishra and Matthew J. Koehler’s 2006 TPACK framework,
focuses on technological knowledge (TK), pedagogical knowledge (PK)
and content knowledge (CK).
The model offers an insight into many of the dilemmas
that teachers face in implementing educational technology. My hypothesis is that we cannot fully exploit the power of technology if we are not open to reviewing the content and nature of 21st Century teaching and learning. The video outlines some of the big questions that we should ask before implementing a new EdTech strategy.
